Mary Kathryn (Stutzman) Sundheimer entered Heaven's beautiful gardens on Friday, October 20th 2017 after voyaging through cancer's force, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 6th, 1937 to Henry and Mabel Stutzman of Holmesville. They precede her in death.
Her gardens were graced with splendor, and her passion was making them thrive. A lifelong resident of Holmes County, she was a businesswoman, and co-owner of Country Craft Cupboard in Berlin. The creator and maker of the legendary One Egg Cake (family fave), she loved to read, sew, and was craftier than Martha Stewart. Camping and traveling with her husband, before he passed, were things she loved to do. Long rides on the back roads of our beautiful area were a weekly anticipation. She took pleasure in her children and grandchildren's activities, and loved her Berlin Mennonite Church family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 43 years, Clyde Sundheimer, a son Scott Sundheimer, and brothers Bobby and Gary. She is survived by her children Jen (Paul) Christner, Lauri (John) Kline, Shelly (Allan) Miller, Melissa (George) Herrera, Rhonda (Scott) Lowe, grandchildren Heather (Trent) Goings, Adrianne (Michael) Bryk, Jonni (Jarrod) Bickel, Jamie (Caleb) Galbraith, Jordan Miller, Cameron Miller, McKenzie Miller, Esabelle Herrera, Selena Herrera, Hunter Herrera, Zach Lowe, Olivia Lowe, Casey Lowe, Collin Lowe, great-grandchildren Jasmine Goings, Sasha Goings, Lilly Goings, Madisynn Bryk, Eloise Bickel, Norah Bickel, Camilla Bickel, Charlie Galbraith, and Chloe Galbraith. Brothers Marion (Betty) Stutzman, Marvin (Yvonne) Stutzman, and Warren (Fern) Stutzman.
Calling hours are Sunday, October 22nd from 6-9 at Berlin Mennonite Church. Friends and family may gather on Monday, October 23rd at 9:30 A.M. at Berlin Mennonite Church where we will proceed to the Berlin Cemetery for burial. A Memorial celebration of life will follow at the church at 11 A.M. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.
