Bernice Kiser, age 98, of Applecreek, Ohio passed away Saturday morning, September 30, 2017 at the Wayne County Care Center, Wooster, Ohio following a period of declining health.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will be at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Friends my call 2 hours prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Bernice was born December 13, 1918 in Layland, Ohio and was the daughter of Emmet and Delpha (Mullet) Young. She was a graduate of Holmesville High School. On October 16, 1959 she married Dean Kiser at St. John's Church of Millersburg, he preceded her in death April 15, 2017.
Bernice previously worked at Flxible Company and Fredericksburg Pottery. In 1956 she started working at Wooster Brush, retiring in 1981 as a 25-year Club member. She was a member of the Holmesville Federated Methodist Church. Bernice loved to travel and loved her flowers. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time and holidays with her family.
She is survived by her brother, Ralph Dean Young of Wooster; her sister, Eileen Dye of Millersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Andrew Young.
