Weldon Lewis Baisden, 61, passed away peacefully Friday, July 21, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.

He was born Nov. 9, 1961, in Gallipolis, and was the son of Lewis and Lauranell (Miller) Baisden Jr. He graduated from New London High School. Weldon was an avid fisherman and hunter who spent much of his life on the road doing what he loved, driving truck. He was always known for his sense of humor and willingness to help anytime he could. He will be forever missed by so many!

Weldon is survived by his significant other, Cheri Fleming; three children, Billy Fleming, Bryan Crislip, and Gavin Jenkins; mother, Lauranell Baisden; mother-in-law, Ellen Fleming; two sisters, Grace (Eric) Leibold and Sandy (Mario) Ramos; nephews, Ian (Kasey) Ramos and Mario Keaton Ramos; niece, Cassandra (Michael) Pelton; great-nephew, Carter; great-nieces, Eléna and Camilla; aunt, Janet Daugherty; cousin, Stephanie Ortiz; and numerous other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father.
