Virginia Sue Byers, age 43, of Millersburg, unexpectedly passed away on December 21, 2024. She was born on June 17, 1981, and spent her life devoted to the people she loved most — her family.

Virginia was a graduate of West Holmes High School and attended Millersburg Church of God. She was a loving stay-at-home mother whose greatest joy in life was caring for her children and creating a warm, welcoming home filled with love.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Linda Byers; her siblings, Terry Byers and Joey Byers; her children, Johnathon Plant and Lillian Plant; and her former husband of 21 years, John Plant. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Byers.

Virginia was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and loving nature. Her greatest wish in life was to be married and have children, a dream that became her proudest accomplishment and deepest blessing. She found happiness in the simple things — cooking meals for those she loved, shopping, doing makeup and hair, and sharing laughter with family and friends. She especially loved butterflies, which reflected the beauty and softness she carried within her soul.

Those who knew Virginia will remember the warmth she brought into every room and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her children, family, and all who loved her.
