Timothy S. Mast
DALTON – Timothy Scott Mast, 62, formerly a resident of Mt. Hope, passed away July 19 at Aultman Hospital due to complications of his chronic heart condition. He lives on through organ donation.
He was born April 5, 1961 to Dan E. and Donna (Giauque) Mast.
Surviving are girlfriend Jenifer Hartzler and brothers Michael (Amy) Mast of Canton and Todd (Darlene) Mast of Mansfield; nieces and nephew Rachel, Michael (Aubree), Andrea and Sumer Mast and Tamara (Nate) Lee; great-nieces and nephews Vanessa, Greyson, Emery and Ashur.
Tim was a long-time member and four-time president of the Canton Chapter of Antique Automobile Club of America. Some of his greatest joys were touring and participating in other club activities with his many friends who shared his passion for classic cars. He was an active member of St. John’s Church. Tim was a fixture for more than 30 years behind the counter at Mt. Hope Hardware.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 26 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Church of Millersburg, with the Rev. Sara Charlton officiating. A private burial will take place at Fryburg Cemetery in Holmes County.
Friends may call Tuesday July 25 from 5 to 7 at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
