Obituary


Timothy L. Martin, age 75, of Lakeville, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022.
Military services will be held 9:15 a.m. Monday, June 6th at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting alexanderfhinc.com. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County veterans office.
Timothy was born May 2, 1947 in Sugarcreek, Ohio and was the son of Allan and Ilene Martin. He was a 1965 graduate of West Holmes High School and was a proud Vietnam veteran, serving as a sergeant in the US Army. Timothy worked 25 years for United Telephone.
He is survived by two daughters: Karen Martin (fiance, Chuck Sweeny) and Barbara Estill both of Millersburg; three grandchildren: Evan Emilee and Olivia Estill; two sisters: Elaine Baker and Mary Ann Wirth both of Shreve; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dale Martin; an infant brother; and a brother-in-law, Dale Baker.
