Terry John Straits, age 51, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away Saturday morning, October 26th, 2024 following a brief battle with cancer.

Per his wishes, no services will be held. 

Terry was born October 25th, 1973 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of John Straits and Shirley (Kinney) Smith. He was a 1992 graduate of West Holmes High School. Terry worked at EJ Stutzman in Sugarcreek as an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed bird watching, especially bald eagles, and having his dog Diesel riding shotgun with him in his truck.

He is survived by his father, John Straits of Killbuck; his mother, Shirley Smith of Lakeville; his sister, Jennifer (Chad) Long of Millersburg; a stepsister, Sandy Mullet of California; and three nephews: Colby, Jordan and Austin Long.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Anna Straits.
