Terry L. Rice, age 64, of Warsaw, Ohio passed away Monday, January 6th, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, Wooster, Ohio following a period of declining health.
A private burial will take place in Spring Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County Dog Warden's office and adoption center.
Terry was born December 9, 1960 in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of Jerry Lee and Emma Jean (Burgett) Rice. On December 7th, 1990. He married Susan L. Miller and she survives.
Terry Was a dedicated oil field worker, beginning at the age of 14. Being a Rig operator was his life passion. He enjoyed coon hunting, trap shooting and playing cards. He loved his dogs, horses and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan are four children and their spouses: Chad (Jennifer) Long of Millersburg, Toby (Christina) Rice of Millersburg, Miranda (Nicholas) Meyers of Clarksville, Tennessee and Stephen (Kelly) Rice of Killbuck; grandchildren: Mary (Danny) Schlabach, Tyler Lyons, Colby Long, Jordan Long, Austin Long, Audrey Meyers, Hadley Meyers, Kason Meyers, Warren Meyers, Everett Meyers and Harper Rice; three great-grandchildren: Alan, Marlyn and Aris; his brothers: Homer (Mandy) Rice of Mansfield and Gary (Joey) Rice of Holmesville; nieces and nephews: Scottie (Andreah) Argabrite, Kevin Rice, Lylian Rice, Hunter Rice and Kaydanz Rice, Blake Rice, Jalob Rice, Parker Rice, Leah Tish, Jessica Rice and Rachel (Bubba) Henry; great niece and great nephew: Colter and Ollie Argabrite.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Brenda Daniel; a brother, Richard Rice; a sister, Michelle Rice; infant sister, Della Rice; and a daughter, Stephanie Danielle Rice.
