Sue E. (Shrimplin) Britt

Sue E. Britt, 69, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice Facility in Wooster. She was born in Millersburg on May 7, 1949 to Richard and Lillian (Lawhead) Shrimplin and married Ed Britt on February 21, 1969, he survives. Sue was a 1967 graduate of West Holmes High School where she worked along side Ed in the family business for many years. In later years she was a part-time janitor for the West Holmes School District. Sue was a member of the Killbuck First Church of Christ and loved being a 4-H advisor for the Killbuck Handy Helpers for many years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with Ed and their friends. Sue always looked forward to time spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Dennis (Kim) Britt of Millersburg and Christie Britt of Millersburg; three grandchildren, Devin Britt, Haley Britt, and Jimmy Britt all of Millersburg; a brother, Rick (Linda) Shrimplin of Loudonville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (Daryl) Crawford of Holmesville. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Sue's life will be held at a later date. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to LifeCare Hospice of Wayne and Holmes Counties, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
