Stephen Ray Miller, age 59, of Millersburg, Ohio and formerly of Sarasota, Florida passed away suddenly and peacefully after his lifelong struggle with diabetes on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20th at Freedom Fellowship Church, 6209 Carr Rd., Apple Creek, Ohio, where friends and family will be given the opportunity to share stories and memories. Doran Wengerd will officiate the service. Burial will take place at East Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Steve was born February 23, 1962 in Sarasota, Florida and was the son of Alan and Fern (Kandel) Miller. He first married Karen (Miller) Miller and later married Jan (Owen) Miller.
Steve worked for Ivan Weaver Construction and did carpentry work. He attended church at Freedom Fellowship, The Well, The Summit and Gateway Fellowship, or wherever God lead him that morning. Steve was a member of the NRA. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, Nascar fan and loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Brent Alan (Kayla) Miller of Killbuck, Ohio, Danielle Jo Miller of Sarasota, Florida and Jared Blake Miller of Millersburg, Ohio; two grandchildren, Wyatt Gauge Miller and Zoella Grace Miller; four sisters, Marilyn Camacho of Berlin, Carol (Norman) Wagler of Greentown, Indiana, Debbie (Lynn) Wengerd of Dalton, Ohio and Janet (Lamar) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Ohio; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Miller; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Camacho.
A celebration of life fish fry is being planned for a later date.
