Stephen "Steve" Eiler Jr., a beloved pillar of our community, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, at the age of 75. Steve was a cherished husband of 53 years, father, grandfather, and fierce friend. 

Steve's vibrant spirit touched everyone around him. He was a dedicated owner of the local bowling alley, a place where many gathered not just to bowl, but to enjoy the warmth and camaraderie Steve fostered. His passion for woodworking was evident in the beautiful handcrafted pieces he created, each reflecting his meticulous craftsmanship and care.

Steve's adventurous side shone through in his motorcycle journeys, which he cherished with his wife. These trips were a testament to his love for exploration and the deep bond he shared with her. His infectious smile, complete with dimples, could light up any room and bring joy to those around him.

A pillar in his community, Steve was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Eiler; his mother, Genevieve (Jenny) Eiler; and his brothers, William (Bill) Eiler and David (Dave) Eiler. He is survived by his devoted wife, Katherine (Kathy) Eiler; his daughters, Laura (Neil Mast), Susan (Michael Dunham), and Katie (Christopher Farris); his sisters Donna (Mark Vansickle) and Sherry (Jon Mullet) as well as his adoring 6 grandchildren and their spouses. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Steve will be remembered for his generosity, his kind spirit, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with a service and time of remembrance beginning at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Hartley officiating.
