Stanley Lee Derringer, age 67, of Brinkhaven, Ohio passed away Friday, January 31st, 2020 at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio with his fiance, stepdaughter and granddaughter by his side.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 6th at Wolf Creek, Pleasant View Cemetery, just outside of Stillwell, where Military Rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW.

Stanley was born July 8th, 1951 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Harold and Francey (Anderson) Derringer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the US Army. Stanley was a lumber inspector for Sherman Yoder, worked for Semac industry and also for Hipp Lumber. He was a member of the Killbuck VFW and the Melvin McClure American Legion of Holmesville. Stanley enjoyed watching football, going mushroom hunting, taking his dogs on country rides, sitting by a bonfire and having cookouts with friends. He loved his great-granddaughter, Rileigh, and enjoyed the time he spent with her.
Surviving is his fiance and companion for the last 22 years, Eva Alberts; son, Aaron Pennell of Wooster; and his grandson, Brenden Dillon Pennell. He is also survived by four stepchildren, Pete, Kenny, Glen, Tammy and Tula; 6 step granddaughters; 5 step grandsons; and numerous step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruthann Derringer; and two brothers, Harold "Red" Derringer Jr. and George Derringer.
