Sonja Rose Sondles, age 79, of Coshocton County, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio following an extended illness.

Sonja was born July 31, 1943 in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of Donald Snyder and Rosemary Dunfee. She married Norm L. Sondles and he preceded her in death in 1997.

Sonja enjoyed sewing and spending time with her two dogs: Cuddles and Precious.

She is survived by three children and their spouses: Shelley (Troy) Gamertsfelder of Millersburg, Troy (Shelly) Sondles of Spring Mountain and Dana (Sandy) Cheney of Coshocton; five grandchildren: Morgan, (Korey) Kelling, Rylee Sondles, Travis Cheney, Nathan Cheney and Chaz Johnson; and three great grandchildren; Kaine, Knova and Krue Kelling. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Durwood Dunfee; and daughter, Misty Johnson.
