Shirley Elaine Thomas

Shirley Elaine Thomas, age 86, of Holmesville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 12th at Holmesville Church of Christ with Ethen Chew officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Prairie Township Cemetery. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County Humane Society.

Shirley was born August 13th, 1935 in Killbuck, Ohio and was the daughter of Charles and Lucy (Gray) Brink. She worked numerous years at Addressograph- Multigraph in Holmesville. Shirley attended Union Grove Church of Christ. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan, she loved to travel, was an animal lover and she enjoyed working outside with flowers.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Ramona) Hines of Killbuck; two stepsons, Randy (Jackie) Thomas and Dave Thomas; two grandchildren, Lawrence (Michelle) Hines and Cecilia (Ethen) Chew; one great-granddaughter, Lilah Chew; a sister, Beulah Ann (Robert) Hawkins of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her niece, Dawn Labosco of Dallas, Texas; and numerous other nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Denzil Thomas; and three brothers, Edwin, James and Olen Brink.

Shirley's family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You to Aultman Hospital for allowing two more weeks of precious time spent with her son.
