Obituary for Sharon (Armbrecht) Huston
July 31, 1935 – May 28, 2025

Sharon (Armbrecht) Huston, age 89, of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.

Born in 1935, Sharon lived a life rooted in compassion, service, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted nurse, a loving homemaker, and a gentle soul who found deep joy in gardening, caring for animals, and selflessly tending to the needs of others.

A follower of Jesus and a faithful prayer warrior, Sharon’s love for her family and her Savior was evident in every aspect of her life. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and spiritual devotion continues to inspire all who knew her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. M. Robert Huston (June 1992); her daughter, Molly Starner (January 2025); her parents, Paul and Dorothy Armbrecht; and her grandparents, Orville and Goldie Arnold, and Art and Mary Armbrecht.

She is survived by her loving children:

Jeffrey Huston (Kathleen) of Canton, Ohio

Cassandra Moyer (Dean) of Northlake, Texas

Tod Huston (Wendy) of Ravenna, Ohio

She was a proud grandmother to Ethan (Sydney) Moyer of Northlake, Texas; Nate (Naomi) Huston; Wes Moyer (Ali Curry) of Aiken, South Carolina; Jonathan (Kelly) Huston of Pasadena, California; Hannah (Andrew) Hujar, Canton, Ohio; Rachel (Ben) Blackketter of Indianapolis, Indiana; Bekka (Newell) Voress of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan; and Zora and Lexi Starner of Millersburg, Ohio.

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Owen and Bailey Moyer; Eleanor, Lucille, and Nehemiah Huston; Charlie and Maeve Voress; and Josie Hujar.

A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Martin’s Creek Mennonite Church, Millersburg, Ohio. The family will receive condolences beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
