Sharon L. Hamilton, age 76, of Wooster, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family, following a period of declining health.

Sharon was born August 23, 1949 in Mentor, Ohio and was the daughter of John and Helen (Lanning) Watkins. She was a 1968 graduate of Wooster High School. On June 28, 1970 she married the love of her life, Kent J. Hamilton. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2015. 

Sharon was a member of Grace Church in Wooster. She loved to read, color and spend time with her children, grandchildren and grandpups.

Sharon is survived by her three children and their spouses: Heather (Trever) Mackey of Killbuck, Jason (Mindee) Hamilton of Massillon and Erica (Marc) Craver of Wooster; five grandchildren. Garrett Mackey, Major (Nadia) Mackey, Jeremy (Leena) Hamilton, Zachary (Hayley) Hamilton and Chase Hamilton; one great-granddaughter, Josie Mae Hamilton; and a sister, Arvesta Jolliff of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Lola Pepin; and a brother, James Watkins.
