Sandra Marie (Arnold) Snyder

Sandra “Sandy” Snyder 67, of Lakeville, Ohio passed away Tuesday May 5, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster following a period of declining health.

Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Monday May 11th at Alexander Funeral Home, with Pastor Karol Niehaus officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be 10:45 a.m. Tuesday May 12th at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Sandy was born April 16, 1959, in Wooster, Ohio and was the daughter of John W. and Carolyn A. (Wagner) Arnold. Sandy married Arthur Snyder Sr. on April 2, 1999, and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2021. Sandy was a graduate of West Holmes High School. She enjoyed working for Lang View Farms, attending family gatherings, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sandy was a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, Shreve American Legion Unit 67 Auxiliary, and the Killbuck VFW Post 7079 Auxiliary.

Sandy is survived by her son Steven (Rachel) Goans; four stepchildren; grandchildren Lincoln and Kinley Goans; sisters Sheila Ellis and Sharon (Richard) Varnes; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, parents John and Carolyn and brother-in-law Robert Ellis.
