Sandra Scherer

Sandra Scherer, age 70, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her home.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Friday, July 1st at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. A private burial will take place at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.

Sandra was born August 2, 1951 in Holmes County and was the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Tharp) Swinehart. On August 2, 1969 she married Ronald Dean Scherer I and he preceded her in death on September 1, 2016. 
Sandra worked almost 30 years for Felsted in Holmesville.
She is survived by two children and their spouses: son, Ron (Tricia) Scherer and daughter, Misty (Bruce) Seith both of Shreve; three grandchildren, Bristen, Nick and Cassi Scherer and many fur grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Gary Swinehart of Holmesville; her sister, Margaret Marks of Millersburg; two sisters-in-law, Anna Swinehart and Shirley Swinehart; a brother-in-law, Owen Beachy; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters: Martha, Edith and Betty; brothers: Larry, Leroy and Louis; a brother-in-law, William Marks; and a sister-in-law, Susan Swinehart.
