Sandra Lee Cass, age 83, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27, at Nashville Church of Christ, Nashville, Ohio, with pastors Doug Hartley and Brad Dodson officiating. Burial will take place in Nashville Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 26, at the church.

Sandra was born November 8, 1941, in Akron, Ohio, and was the daughter of Harold and Katherine Kiplinger. On December 22, 1962, she married Stanley Cass and he survives. 

Sandra was a 1959 graduate of Manchester High School and in 1963 received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Ashland College. She was a first grade teacher for Crestview Local School District. After teaching she became a homemaker and later worked as a substitute teacher. Sandra was a member of Nashville Church of Christ for more than 50 years where she taught Sunday School, VBS, and youth group. She was instrumental in starting Treasure Makers, a women's quilting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, and service group at the church. She enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and the outdoors. She also opened her home to foster children. Sandra was a wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. 

Surviving in addition to her husband Stanley, are four children: Heidi (George) Foley of Mongo, Indiana, Dr. Staush (Amanda) Cass of Wooster, Ohio, Heather Harris of Fredericktown, Ohio, and Hohna (Doug) Hartley of Alexandria, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren: Christine, Emily, Bethany, Moriah, Sawyer, Audrey, Emory, Olivia, Asa, Luke, Kenna and Lea-Claire; a great-granddaughter, Ysabeau, and one great grandbaby on the way. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Nancy Kiplinger. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Sharon and Richard.
