Ruth Ann McGurr, age 73, of Millersburg, Ohio and formerly if Stafford Springs, Connecticut passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Akron City Hospital, Akron, Ohio.

Ruth Ann was born June 29, 1948 in Worcester, MA and was the daughter of Willis Eben and Beatrice Emma Janes. She first married George "Skip" Drawbridge and later married Albert McGurr.

She was a 1967 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and a 1970 graduate of Becker College, where she received a degree in accounting. Ruth Ann enjoyed antiquing, going to flea markets and art. In her younger years she was involved in a racing club where she loved hot rod road racing.

Ruth Anna survived by her son, Timothy (Sharon) Drawbridge of Millersburg, Ohio; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Steve (Karen) Janes of Charlton, MA; a sister, Grace (Charles) Asbury Jr. of Jonesville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Christopher Drawbridge and Gerald Drawbridge.
