It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Pappa on April 22, 2026, born on August 15, 1981, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose love for his family and simple joys in life will never be forgotten.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday May 1st at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ronald married the love of his life, Angel Pappa, in January 2002, and together they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. He was a man who truly enjoyed the outdoors and the things that brought him peace. He loved mushroom hunting and ginseng hunting, spending countless hours exploring nature. He also had a passion for working on trucks and vehicles, always eager to fix or tinker with anything he could get his hands on. Music was something he deeply enjoyed, and he loved going on weekend thrifting adventures with his wife.
Above all else, Ronald cherished his family. His favorite moments were the quiet nights spent at home watching movies with his wife and making memories with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest happiness simply being surrounded by the people he loved most.
Ronald leaves behind his loving wife, Angel Pappa; his daughters, Cheyenne and her husband Bob Graves, Cherokee and her husband Bradley Crider, and Shawnee and her husband Matthew Slabaugh; his sons, Dakota Patterson and Aaron, Roy; and his 11 beloved grandchildren: Dreyden, Angel, Leanna, Ryker, Samantha, Xavier, Lukka, Lakka, Gatlin, Willow, Brady, and Milo.
He is also survived by his siblings, Ronita Johns of Akron, Ohio; Jeff (Kim) Smith of Akron, Ohio; Mary Rogers of Akron, Ohio; and Juanita Musisca of Canton, Ohio.
Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Darlin Pappa; his father, Ronald Rogers and his beloved grandson, Atticus Graves; father-in-law Paul and mother-in-law Yvonne Hoxworth
Ronald’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone from our sight, his love, laughter, and the memories he created will remain with his family forever.
