Rodney W. Kandel age 47, of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away July 8th, 2024, following injuries sustained in an accident.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm Thursday July 11, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.

Rod was born December 22, 1976, and was the son of Brenda S. (Butler) Howland and the stepson of James Howland. He was a truck driver for Hawkins Lumber for many years. Rod was a jokester, he enjoyed RC cars, paintballing, riding motorcycles, tinkering with cars, gardening but most of all spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Arla Kandel and Jasmine Kandel, mother Brenda Howland and brother Randy (Jennifer) Kandel.

Rod was preceded in death by his stepfather James Howland, maternal grandparents Woodrow and Delphia Butler.
