Robert "Bob" David Hayes

Robert "Bob" David Hayes, age 76, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio following an extended illness. 

A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, March 11th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Clifford Beck officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Whetstone Cemetery, Mannington, West Virginia.

Robert was born January 13th, 1947 in Mannington, West Virginia and was the son of Harold L. and Lillie M. (Jones) Hayes. Bob worked for the Seaman Corporation for 40 plus years, where he retired. Uncle Bob loved to spend time with his family. He made beautiful quilts and afghans and he loved to go dancing.

He is survived by his sister, Martha (Sam) Anderson of Hampden, Massachusetts; a sister-in-law, Judy (Bill) Hayes of Dover, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold "Peanut" and Lillie Hayes; three siblings: Anna "Boots" Mike, William "Bill" Hayes and Betty Chaney; one brother-in-law, Jessie Mike; a niece, Virginia, Mike; and a nephew, Frank Mike.
