Rex Trussel Obituary

Rex E. Trussel, age 69, passed away January 14th, 2023 at his residence at Sunshine Villa in Millersburg after years of physical decline from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cancer.

Rex was born November 17th, 1953 to Bessie and Budd Trussel Jr. He was preceded in passing by his parents; brothers: Robert Gisinger and Michael Gisinger; and one sister, Karen Shafer.

He is survived by two brothers: Ted (Peggy) Gisinger of Wooster and Rocky Trussel of Shreve; and two sisters: Linda (Larry) Harter of Millersburg and Sharon (John) Mackey of Holmesville.

Rex used to race stock cars at area tracks. He loved going fishing and driving his big blue 1989 van around town.

The family is planning private graveside services following cremation. Interment of ashes will be at Killbuck Cemetery with David Crist officiating.
