Reba K. Clippinger, 70, of Wooster, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster following a battle with cancer.


A private Celebration of Life will be held.


Memorial contributions may be made to Alexander Funeral Home P.O. Box 108, Millersburg, Ohio to help defray costs.


Reba was born on August 18, 1955, in Medina, Ohio, to Roy and Mary Lucille (Markle) Lowe. One of three triplets, they held the special distinction of being the first born at Medina County Hospital. Reba graduated from Wooster High School in 1974. Her bubbly personality shone through as she greeted customers at the convenience store she managed. An avid reader, Reba had a gift for retelling stories in vivid detail. Reba also enjoyed listening to music and working on jigsaw puzzles.


Reba is survived by her daughter, Heidi Soto (Kevin Dunlap); her stepdaughter, Heather Edie (Steve); grandchildren, Summer Soto (Cody Morris), Devin Soto (fiancée Morgan Drawdy), Zakery Johnson, and Hailey Edie; great-grandchildren, Aurora Soto and Alaina Morris; sisters, Marie Lowe and Rosie Spires; half-sister, Sally Hallam; ex-husband, Robert Clippinger; and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ray; her sister, Ruth; her half-sister, Margaret; her brother-in-law, Verne Spires; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Hubert.


The family extends heartfelt thanks to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for the compassionate care given to Reba.
