Together Again
Peggy Jarvis, age 72, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Wooster Community Hospital following an ongoing illness.
A private graveside service will take place at Killbuck Cemetery with Pastor Jim Jamison officiating.
She was born April 28, 1951 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Royal Renfrew and Doris (Purdy) and Howard "Deacon" Schonauer. On September 15, 1968, she married Ernie Jarvis and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2024.
Peggy previously worked at Addressograph-Multigraph in Holmesville, Shriner's Sole Company in Killbuck and was a plant manager at Orrville Leather for several years. She was a neighborhood grandma in Killbuck and was known by many as "Old Ma". She enjoyed going to casinos, being on Facebook, and Chad's barbecues. She loved spending time with her best friend, Mary Ellen "Shorty" Shroyer.
She is survived by her three children; Bobbi (Rusty) Hawkins of Stillwell, Inez (Kenny) Strouse of Glenmont, Chad (Ruthie) Jarvis of Killbuck: 7 grandchildren; Jaci Pierce, Kylie Hawkins (Brad), Tiff (Travis) Weber, Keshia (John) Singleton, Kayla (Adam) Forrer, Schiane Jarvis, Daren (Sara) Jarvis: 13 great grandchildren; Camdyn and Coidyn Beachy, Paislee Feister, Lincoln Beckelhimer, Maddox and Sloane Weber, Beckett and Reese Singleton, Ben, Keni and Kaci Forrer, Bobby Blake and Lunar Jarvis: three brothers; Rob (Vicki) Renfrew of Stillwell, Donny (Becky) Schonauer of Welcome, and JR (Renee) Renfrew of Tiverton: her sister, Rhonda (Jeff) Chaney of Killbuck: many nieces and nephews: dear friends, Bob and Doris Spurgeon: and her lifelong best friend, Mary Ellen Shroyer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Royal Renfrew: mother and stepfather, Doris and Howard "Deacon" Schonauer: a brother, Jimmy Renfrew: two granddaughters; LeeAnn Mullins and Briana Pierce: and a great grandson, Cannon Weber.
