Patricia Kauffman Obituary

Patricia Jean Kauffman peacefully journeyed to be with her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2023. She was born on November 28, 1933 to Edna and Clarence “Mike" Klingler.

To those who knew her, Pat's presence was larger than life. Her vibrant spirit and contagious laughter could light up any room. Her holiday gatherings were the best, and her favorite saying was, "if you can fit through the door, we’ll find a place for you." She truly meant it from the bottom of her heart. She was a phenomenal cook and created mouth-watering dishes, including her famous orange Jell-O concoction, custard pie, and date pudding, which were just a few of her family’s favorites.

Pat was a woman of strength, independence, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, David M. Kauffman, and supported him through their years of owning a business and living on their horse farm. Pat had a passion for reading and devoured hundreds of novels until Macular degeneration dimmed her eyesight. She also enjoyed watching high school basketball and indulging in some delicious pizza and Funnel Cake.

She is survived by her four children, Vickie (Harry) Miller, Kris (Frank) Arnold, Mike Kauffman, Kim (Debbie) Kauffman, and an army of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter who were her pride and joy: Neilee (Brian) Vess, Kurt (Neala) Miller, Joe (Rachel) Miller, Jennifer Crilow (Dan) Miller, Jason M. Arnold, Brittany Kauffman, Shayna (Joey) Trail, Mariah (Glen) Brown, Mallori (Rhett) Harris, Brayden Vess (fi, Brittney Masters), Luke Vess, Corin Crilow, Caleb Crilow, Collin Crilow, Lane (Jessie) Miller, Dani Miller, Wade Miller, Allyson Miller, Audrey Miller, Reid Miller, Jayden Kauffman, Maddie Perrine, Kylee Perrine, Atalie Arnold, Alayna Brown, Makenzie Brown, Carter Brown, Brodee Arnold, Jaxton Arnold, Kara Arnold, Laynee Arnold, Nora Trail and Navy Harris, her two siblings, Linda Feikert and Jim Klingler and many nieces and nephews that adored her. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Caroline, her husband David, and her grandson Kurt Miller.

Private services will be held for family at a later date. Pat will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched, including her dedicated and loving skilled nursing workers. As she joins her loved ones in heaven, we remember her as a beautifully imperfect woman who was saved by God’s Abundant Grace and perfect Love.
