Orean Eugene Barrett, age 76, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio with his wife at his side.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Ohio Western National Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Orean was born December 29, 1948 in Elko, Nevada and was the son of Orean Vernon and Joyce Vinita (Pike) Barrett. On April 23, 1981 he married Donna Mae White and she survives. 

Orean was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army from 1970 to 1975. He received 13 medals, one being the Purple Heart. Orean attended Millersburg Baptist Church. He loved singing karaoke, playing his guitar and assembling plastic models.

Surviving in addition to his wife Donna are four sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; his good friend, Andrea Kellogg; and his beloved Chihuahua, Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
