Nyoka (Chaney) Boley, age 81, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, December 16, 2023 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg with family at her side.

 

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23rd at Killbuck Cemetery with Pastor Ric Snyder officiating. A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held at the Killbuck First Church of Christ, following the graveside serviceon Saturday. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

 

Nyoka was born February 10, 1942 in Holmes County and was the daughter of Charles and Hilda (Brankel) Chaney. On September 24, 1960 she married Donald Boley and he preceded her in death in 2003.

 

Nyoka worked 18 years for Inn Maid Noodles. She volunteered at Save-N-Serve and also at Pomerene Hospital. Nyoka was a member of the Killbuck First Church of Christ.

 

She is survived by children: Donald Boley Jr., Charles Boley (fiance, Judi Neville), Tracy (Buck) Hahn and William (Becky) Boley all of Millersburg; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Effie Sheldon and Terry Chaney both of Killbuck, Ohio.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings: Rex Chaney, Joyce West, Edna Roach, Loretta Mohler, Patrica Strouse, Bruce Chaney, Larry Chaney, Gary Chaney and Ronald Chaney.
