Nina B. Kasner, 95, of Millersburg, passed away June 15, 2025, at Sycamore Run Nursing Home.

Private family services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Nina was born on October 9, 1929, to Bertus and Hazel (Ross) Smith. She married Robert E. Kasner on December 14, 1947, and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Nina was a keeper of the home. She was a talented seamstress, cook and pie baker. She had volunteered at Pomerene Hospital and Round Lake Christian Church Camp for many years. She was a member of the Millersburg Christian Church.

Surviving are her two children, Steve (Connie) Kasner of Orrville, Ohio and Joy Yoder of Sugarcreek, Ohio, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Arthur Claire, Gene, Robert, and Glen Smith; sisters Nora Mae (Smith) McKee and Ila Fae (Smith) Weirck; and son-in-law Dale E. Yoder.

Nina’s family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Sycamore Run Nursing and Rehab and Ohio’s Hospice for their excellent care of Nina during her last few weeks of life.
