Morgan L. Hoxworth Obituary

Morgan L. Hoxworth, age 26, of Smithville, Ohio passed away Friday evening, November 24, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday December 1st at Martin's Creek Mennonite Church with Pastors Jay Conn and Matt Flinner officiating. Burial will take place at Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Martin's Creek Mennonite Church and also two hours prior to the service on Friday.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes or Wayne County dog shelter, because Morgan would love that.

 

Morgan was born July 8, 1997 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of David Hoxworth and Sherry Hanna. She was a 2015 graduate of West Holmes High School and was a graduate of Kent State University's Tuscarawas campus. She worked at Grasshopper and put herself through college. She then worked at One Eighty, later was a case manager at Goodwill industries and currently was a probation officer for Wayne County. While in high school she was very active in 4-H and FFA. She enjoyed shooting guns and she loved her dogs.

 

Morgan is survived by her husband, Tyler Reber and her two stepsons; Zane and Zander Reber, whom she loved and cared for as her own. She's also survived by her parents: David (Teresa) Hoxworth of Millersburg and Sherry (Steve) Hanna of Killbuck; her paternal grandmother, Norma Hoxworth of Millersburg; step grandparents, Ken and Marge Gerber of Millersburg; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her fur babies: Nova, who is naughty and Boseph, a purebred good boy.

 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Walter Hoxworth and maternal grandfather, Gary Force.
