Millie Nickerson

Millie Nickerson, age 89, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away peacefully under hospice care on Monday, March 1, 2021at Green Ridge Assisted Living, Millersburg, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 8th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Chaplain Ginger Pflueger officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home. Committal services will take place 12:30 p.m. Monday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. 
Millie was born August 4, 1931 in Richwood, West Virginia and was the daughter of Ottie and Dema (Bess) Moore. On June 26, 1972 she married Robert "Bob" Nickerson, he preceded her in death February 12, 2016. 
Millie was a homemaker. She was affiliated with 
The Chapel in Akron for many years. 
She is survived by children, Sheila (Uly) Durchanek, Brien (Eugena) Newsome and step daughter,
Tamara (Ira) Hamman; grandchildren, Heather (Steve) Smith, Mike (JoAnn) Butler, Aaron (Ashley) Hamman, Jen (Bob) Campbell, Katie Steele, Stacy Frame, Sharon Cornwell (Stephenson), Brianna Frase, Samuel (Maddi) Newsome, Gillian Leimeister, Brooke Leimeister, Lorali Hamman, Jack Butler, Charlie Butler, Brad Steele, Conrad Campbell, William Campbell, Briana Steele, Ricky Steele, Kyle Lantz, Alyssa Campbell and Mykala Campbell; a great granddaughter, Bexley Frase; and one sister, Judy (Howard) Sparks of Craigsville, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann, Betty and Mona; and brothers, Junior, Alvie and George.
