Michael "Mike" Galbraith Obituary
Michael A. "Mike" Galbraith, age 69, of Wooster, Ohio passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at Wooster Community Hospital, surrounded by his family, following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 29th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with pastor Duane Galbraith officiating. Burial will take place at Nashville Cemetery. Mike was born July 29, 1956 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Ronald and Phyllis (Bevington) Galbraith. On July 7, 2001, he married Jill Stull and she preceded him in death.
Mike was a 1974 graduate of West Holmes High School. He started working for the Wachtel family at Spring Walk Farm when he was in the 8th grade until 1995. He enjoyed farm work and he loved helping with the farm's Christmas light display every year, including this year. Mike also worked for Mansfield Plumbing and retired from Akron Brass in 2018. He was on the Nashville Cemetery board. Mike enjoyed attending all of his grandkids' and great grandkids' activities and was especially proud of his West Holmes Alumni roots. He loved playing cards, watching Western movies, collecting sports memorabilia and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
He is survived by four children: Aaron (Katy) Galbraith of Wooster, Beth (Nathan) Lemon of Millersburg, Jaime (Brett) Studer of Wooster, and Erin (Dustin) Miller of Ashland; 13 grandchildren: Brianne (Aaron), Alydia (Josh), Kaileb, Maddy (PJ), Elayna, Jack, Zeke, Ethan (Bri), Darren, Tempy, Elise, Titus, and Eleanor; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jayne Muse of Killbuck and Julie (Jeff) Allison of Millersburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Bill Muse.
