Mary Ann Kandel, age 88 of County Road 201, Millersburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Walnut Hills Assisted Living, Walnut Creek, Ohio following a short illness. 
A Celebration of Life service for immediate family will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Church with Pastors Larry Kaufman and Jeff Hochstetler officiating. Burial will be at the Grace Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday, where rules of social distancing will apply. Mary Ann was born December 8, 1931 in Applecreek, Ohio and was the daughter of Eli L. and Lucy (Hochstetler) Miller. On November 30, 1950 she married Forrest J. Kandel and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2010.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Richard D. (Rebecca) Kandel, Jean (Arlen) Hostetler and Jane (Jim) Martin; five grandchildren, Kent Hostetler, Jared (Sarah) Hostetler, Matt (Katherine) Martin, Erin (Ben) Rogers and Jill (Keith) Miller; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mabel Gable of Dalton, Ohio and Ruby Lehman of Lambertville, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Edward Kandel; a sister, Leona Miller; and a brother, Ray Miller.
