Mary Margaret Williard Hartman, age 84, of Big Prairie, Ohio passed away at the home of her daughter on
Tuesday, June 2, 2020 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday June 6th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Tom Benter officiating. Burial will take place in Ripley Cemetery, Shreve, Ohio. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where rules of social distancing will apply.
Mary was a 1954 graduate of Killbuck High School. She had previously worked at Rice - Chadwick Rubber Company in Killbuck and was a homemaker. Mary was a member of Ripley Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir and was a former Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Loudonville.
She is survived by three children, Caroline (Paul) Croley of Carson City, Nevada, Kevin Williard (Sherri Strother) of Big Prairie, Ohio and Colleen (Jeff) McCune of Nashville, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Blake and Anthony McCune, Ridge and Thaniqua Williard and Jennifer and Carly Croley; and her two nieces, Debbie and Lori.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Zollars; and two nephews, Dave and Steve Zollars.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to Wooster Community Hospital and transportation for all her care and getting her to and from appointments. They would also like to thank Sycamore Run Nursing Home and Interim Health Care Hospice for all of the love, care and compassion that was shown.
