Mary Jane Guthrie, age 98, of Coshocton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on December 21st, 2024 at the Holmes County Home, surrounded by her family.

There will be no services. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer society to help the fight against breast cancer or to the Holmes County Home.

Mary Jane was born on April 18, 1926 in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of Chas and Maddie Mullett. She married Gordon Guthrie and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2021.

Mary Jane worked for Ohio Power in Coshocton and later retired from Semac Industries outside of Millersburg. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Two of her favorite pastimes were knitting and crocheting.

She survived by her son, Greg (Carla) Guthrie of Coshocton, Ohio; grandchildren: Geoff (Jenna) Guthrie of Summerville, South Carolina and Grant Guthrie of Coshocton; six grandchildren: Annalynn, Maddox, Anders and Camden all of Summerville, South Carolina and Saige and Sophie, both of Coshocton; and a sister-in-law, June Mullett of West Lafayette, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two children: Michael and Douglas; and her siblings: Josephine "Joe" Fox, Mercedes Ridenbaugh, Robert Mullett and Jake Mullett.
