Marilyn Arnold, age 87 of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, following a short illness.

 

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday July 11th at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery Glenmont, Ohio.

Marilyn was born July 29, 1938, in Peninsula, Ohio and was the daughter of Frank and Stella (Grote) Nommay. She married Roger Arnold and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2002. 

 

Growing up, Marilyn worked at her family’s restaurant in Glenmont. She later worked for Rice and Chadwick in Killbuck and Regalware in Wooster. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glenmont. Marilyn was an avid Ohio State football and Cleveland Guardians fan. She enjoyed flowers, birds, and country music. Marilyn loved taking cruises and other travels with her husband and close friends.

 

She is survived by two sons and their spouses: Bob (Maureen) Arnold and Jim (Ann Wehener) Arnold; her nephew, Monte Nommay and his family; and her niece, Lori DeShetler and her family. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers: Gary, Louie, and Merle; sisters, Beulah and Pat; and two stepbrothers, Leroy and Al.
