Lynn A. Williard, 86, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away Saturday December 21, 2024, at Pomerene Hospital, following a period of declining health.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday December 28th at the Holmesville Church of Christ, Holmesville, Ohio, with Brad Kirtlan and Willie Parrot officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday December 27th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County Farm Bureau 1625A Sharon Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701.

Lynn was born July 31, 1938, in Big Prairie and was the son of J.C. and Nellie (Mellor) Williard. On April 17, 1964, he married Janet Bridges, and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2003. Lynn enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Yuma Arizona, testing military vehicles in different climates. Lynn was a farm implement mechanic for 63 years; he retired from Mast Equipment in 2003 but continued working for Miller Equipment and independently until 2023. He was a long-term member of the Holmesville Church of Christ. Lynn was very generous with his time helping farmers in the community.

Lynn is survived by his children, Kathryn Williard of Holmesville, Jonathan (Angel) Williard of Holmesville; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Jordan (Cyra) Cultice; great grandchildren, Susan, Benjamin, Conner, Carter, Maya; sister-in-law Mary (Bob) Owens; brother-in-law Herb (Sandra) Bridges; and special family friend Lynn and Janet considered a daughter Beryl (Chad Burrell) Boekel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters and a half-brother.
