Lawrence Robert “Bob” Stryker

Lawrence Robert “Bob” Stryker age 71 went home to be with the Lord Sunday Aug. 11 surrounded by family.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday August 16th at Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Bowles officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Millersburg with Micheal Hershner officiating.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday August 15th at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flower, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to The Bob Stryker Memorial Fund in care of PNC Bank, 34 S. Clay St. Millersburg, Ohio 44654.

He was born September 8, 1947 in Ashland, Ohio and was the son of Lawrence and Mildred (Frazier) Stryker. On March 11, 1979 he married Ina Sours and she survives.

Bob was in ministry for over forty years from Texas to Ohio. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed fishing with his wife, and singing Elvis.

He will be remembered for always caring for others and for his love of God.

Surviving in addition to his wife of forty years are his children Robert (Kim) Stryker of North Fort Myers Florida; Michelle Stryker Young of Green, Ohio; Michael (Jodi) Stryker of Orrville, Ohio; Jason (Lisa) Stryker of Wooster, Ohio; Timothy (Maria) Stryker of Clark, Ohio; Crystal Stryker Lovell of Millersburg, Ohio; and Amy (Howie) Kaser of Millersburg, Ohio. 12 Grandchildren Nate, Anthony, Amber, Cody, Cory, Talan, Makayla, Alisa, Anderson, Hudson, Chloe and Logan; 5 Great grandchildren; and 3 brothers Charles Stryker, Dennis Stryker, and Raymond Stryker all of Wooster, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Maxine.
