Laurie A. Green age 63 Formerly of Wooster passed away into the arms of her beloved Savior, at The Avenue of Wooster on January 19th, 2024 after years of declining health. Private services were held at Nashville Cemetery with Jon Hunter Officiating.

She was born March 12, 1960 in Millersburg, Ohio and was loved unconditionally by her parents Melvin and Pearl Miller. She was a 1978 graduate of West Holmes High School and attended Wooster Business College and Wayne County Career Adult business classes. She worked as a secretary for Wooster City Fire Department, Household Financial Services and Wayco Oilfield Services. Later she worked in retail at Beulah Bechtel's Dress Shop and Corning Revere. She retired from PNC Bank as a Teller where she made some cherished lifetime friends and loved her customers and their dogs. She was formally married to Jim Green of Wooster. In October of 1986 they adopted their loving son James, and that was a very special day. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church serving in various roles and ministries. She loved the gym, cooking and baking, Gospel Music, reading her Bible and serving her Lord. She is survived by her beautiful and loving mother Pearl Miller of Wooster, her treasured son James (Kaye Dutter) of Navarre, aunts Nanie Wolgamot of Arizona and Mary Schmidt of Millersburg. Along with her special cousins Leann Spencer of Millersburg and Sherri (Lee) Farquharson of Wooster and many beloved cousins and their children. She was preceded in death by her precious father Melvin, loving aunt and uncle Helen (Ron) Patterson, numerous other aunts and uncles and cousins who she dearly loved along with her grandparents Gilbert and Martha Wolgamot and Valentine and Emma Miller.
The family would like to thank her trusted doctor Frank Cebul III of 36 years along with the staff at The Avenue at Wooster for their warmth, humor and care during her time there and Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for their care and assistance as she transitioned to her Eternal Home.
