Lacey Craig, age 46, of Killbuck, Ohio expired July 5th, 2024 in Lexington, Kentucky with immediate family at her side, following a courageous battle with stage 4 ovarian cancer.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 24th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday prior to the service. A private graveside service will take place at Killbuck Cemetery with Pastor Cliff Beck officiating.

Lacey was born December 14th, 1977 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Gary Lee and Mary Ellen (Martin) Wagers. On October 3rd, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado she married Erick Craig and he survives. 

Lacey was a graduate of West Holmes High School. She received a Bachelor's Degree in English from Grove City College and completed 2 years at King's Bible College in Colorado. She previously worked for Focus on the Family and from 2011 to 2024 worked at Asbury Theological Seminary as a Coordinator for the Doctor of Ministry Program. She was a member of Woodman Road Free Will Baptist Church in Colorado and also Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. In her younger years she was involved in 4-H and loved playing in the high school band. She was also an officer in her college’s marching band. Lacey was a loving wife and an ardent follower of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed reading her Bible, making cards, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband Erick of 14 and 3/4 years is her mother, Mary Wagers of Killbuck; her brother, Hutch Wagers and his son, Brayden, her brother, Quint (Brittany) Wagers and their sons, Kolston & Easton, and former sister-in-law, Bambi (Ryan) McDonald of Missouri. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Gary and brother, Scott Wagers.
