Kevin Michael Harwood Sr. age 57, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday Night, May 22nd, 2025 in the comfort of his home, after a 7 month battle with Liver Cancer.

Kevin was born January 11th, 1968 in the state of California. He was the son of Kenneth and Connie (Taylor) Harwood.
On July 10,1999 he married Penny J. Sween and she survived.

Kevin was a 1986 graduate of Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Montana University. He also served a term of service in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. After moving and marrying he worked hard to get his Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems in 2002. Kevin worked 25 years at Overhead Door in Mt. Hope, formerly known as Wayne Dalton. Kevin loved being outdoors. He was passionate about growing mushrooms and planting unique trees and shrubs. After his diagnosis those plantings became a passion that he started and we will be working with to keep going. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Penny (the love of his life) are his son, Kevin "Michael" Harwood Jr. (the joy of his life) of Millersburg; his mother, Connie Harwood of Missoula, Montana; a sister Kelly of Missoula, Montana; two nieces; two nephews; and his share of three furry companions, dogs: Molly (the sweet one) Toby (the boy he grew to love) and Maya (the bane of his existence). And LuLu, the huntress cat.

He was preceded in death in 1995 by his father, Kenneth; and by his sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and Bob Haldorsen.

A Life service with family and friends will be held Monday Evening, June 2, 2025 at 6:30pm at Living Hope Fellowship Church, 6342 CR 207 Millersburg, Ohio 44654 (In Benton)
