Kenneth Stafford

Kenneth D. Stafford, age 88, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home with his granddaughter at his side, following a period of declining health.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6th with Pastor Paula Koch officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery where military rites will be conducted.

Ken was born February 22nd, 1933 in Holmes County Ohio and was the son of Herman Stafford and Erma (Boyd) Stafford. In 1958 he married Kreath J. Walkerow, she survives.

Ken was a 1951 graduate of Millersburg High School and attended The Ohio State University where he majored in accounting. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the US Army. Ken previously worked for Flxible Bus Company in both Millersburg and Loudonville and retired from the Millersburg post office. He was a member of Millersburg United Methodist Church and the Millersburg American Legion. Ken was a carpenter and very detail oriented. He helped build several Habitat homes in the Holmes County area. Ken loved golfing, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children; son, Eric K. Stafford of Orrville and daughter, Toni L. Kuno of Wooster; four grandchildren, Erika Stafford of Orrville, Austin Stafford of Wooster, Leah Kuno of Kent and Ben (Sam) Kuno of Kent; three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joyce Barnhouse of Mount Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Donald Stafford, Jean Maxwell and James Stafford; and son-in-law, Jeff Kuno.
