Kenneth J. Nelson, age 65, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away Thursday evening, June 13, 2019 at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, surrounded by family.

Kenneth was born March 25, 1954 in Clay County West Virginia and was the son of Roscoe Nelson and Maxine Gould. He married Betty L. Carpenter, she survives.
Kenneth retired from Stahl after working 30 years. He and his wife enjoyed cruising on back country roads, taking in the scenery of wildlife and bird watching.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Jeannie (Sam) Pearson of Wooster, Ohio; three stepchildren, Bonna (Doug) Straits of Millersburg, Ohio, Brandy Martin of Millersburg, Ohio and Brandon (Morgan) Martin of Wooster, Ohio; eight grandchildren; one great grand daughter; a brother; and his dogs which he loved and treated like family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a stepdaughter, Becky Martin.
