Keith Alan Pyers

Keith Alan Pyers, age 59, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 25, 2023.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 1st at Alexander Funeral Home Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Herschell Hargrave officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW. Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A private burial at Prairie Twp. Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio will take place at a later date. Keith was born January 13, 1964 in Salem, Ohio and was the son of Lawrence T. and Betty Alice (Ackeret) Pyers. On February 7, 1986 he married Betty C. Guthrie and she survived.

Keith was a truck driver for most of his life and was an auto mechanic in his younger years. He also enjoyed transporting local Amish, school children and teachers. Keith attended Broken Grounds Church in Millersburg. He was the founder of Visions Ministry and was a member of Heaven's Saints Motorcycle Club. He was also a member of the Melvin McClure American Legion of Holmesville. He proudly served his country, was very active in Hands of Hope, and enjoyed camping, cooking and riding his motorcycle. He loved dirt track racing and watching his son, Josh and friend, Jaxen Salisbury race.

Surviving an addition to his wife, Betty are three sons: Jonathan (Tyler) Pyers of Cambridge, Ohio, Joshua Pyers of Holmesville, Ohio and Rex (Amber) Jenkins of Killbuck, Ohio; two grandchildren: Alicia and Rex; and his cousin, Robert (Sondra) Fry of Holmesville. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
