Katie Day, age 65, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away Saturday evening, December 21st, 2024 at her home.
She was born July 30th, 1959 in Wadsworth, Ohio and was the daughter of John McDardy and Mary Ann Wonov. She married Kenny Lunsford, and he survives.
Katie enjoyed fishing and her trip to Florida. She loved her grandkids and attending auctions.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children: Theresa (Bobby Williams) McDardy of Jacksonville, Florida, John (Mary) McDardy of Barberton, Ohio, Brian (Jamie) Day of Wadsworth, Ohio and Christine (Anthony) Randolph of Coolville, Ohio 16 grandchildren: Tyler, Josh, Rodney, Erika, Samantha, Natilie, Aubry, Abigil, Gandon, Halie, Jesse, Kayla, Ali, Gavin, Anna and Olivia; and three great-grandchildren: Kalli, Landon and Delilah.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
No services will be held at this time. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer society.
