Karolyn J. (Groomer) Mullett

"Together Again"

Karolyn J. Mullett, age 86 of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at Pomerene Hospital with family by her side, following a brief illness.

Karolyn was born October 13, 1934 in Killbuck, Ohio to William J. Groomer and Florence Orr Groomer (Martin). On November 3rd, 1951 Karolyn married the love of her life Grover F. Mullett of Blissfield, Ohio who then passed away on April 30th, 2009 after 57 and a half years of marriage.

Karolyn attended Killbuck High School and worked several jobs over the years, Flexible Co. of Millersburg, A&M of Holmesville, Ascot (Curtain Co.) of Killbuck and Artwood Door of Millersburg. In her later years she hauled Amish.

Karolyn was a wonderful mother and a beloved and proud grandmother, who enjoyed her grandchildren and all their activities. She was looking forward to becoming an ordained minister and planned on officiating the marriage of her grandson, Dakota and fiance, Rachael in the near future. Her sense of humor, kind heart and contagious spirit will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Surviving are children, Richard (Sharon) Mullett of McConnelsville, Ohio and Keii Boley (Marilee Mizer) of Millersburg, Ohio; son-in-law, Jeff Mackey of Nashville, Ohio; a sister, Evelyn McVay (Kenny Mullet) of Baltic, Ohio; six grandchildren; one step grandchild; 11 great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren (that are twins); and her animals, Dusty, Buddy, Princess and Kissa.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Gordon Mullett; her parents; her stepfather, Lovell W. Martin; and a half brother, Murray Martin.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 22nd at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Ken Smailes officiating. Burial will be in Blissfield Cemetery, Coshocton County. Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
