Karen Sue Gaspard, 67, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away June 15, 2025, at Pomerene Hospital following a brief illness.

No services will be held per Karen’s wishes.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Holmes County Dog Warden and Adoption Center 5387 County Road 349 Millersburg, Ohio 44654.

Karen was born December 3, 1957, in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Dennis and Deanna (Phillabaum) Geiser. She married Edgar Gaspard Sr., and he preceded her in death in 2011.

Karen is survived by children, Laurie (Wayne Shaffer) Smith of Killbuck, Brandon (Kayla) Keim of Killbuck, Tracy (Brian) Harrington, Kara (Brandon) Crane and Toby (Kayla) Gaspard; daughter-in-law Melinda Gaspard; grandchildren Tiara, Thaddeus, Ethan, Eryn, Sadie, Bristol, Timmy, Paul, Taylor, Bret, Kelsi, Madison, Maci, Aiden, Alex, Kadon, and Remi; great grandson Arlo; her father Dennis Geiser; sister Marcia (Joe) Eggleston; brother Ty (Diane) Geiser and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mom Deanna Geiser; siblings Rhonda Geiser and Rodney Geiser, stepson Kim Gaspard, and nephew Darrick Geiser.
