Julia R. Miller age 70 of Orrville, Ohio passed away Thursday July 4, 2024, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday July 10th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Glenmont, Ohio.

Friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Julia was born October 20, 1953, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and was the daughter of Helen B. (Smith) Arnold. She grew up in Glenmont and was a 1972 graduate of West Holmes High School. Through the years she was employed by Shreiner Sole Company of Killbuck, Regal Ware Co. of Wooster, Yost Candy Company of Dalton, and the Wooster Daily Record printing company. Julia enjoyed sewing and art as hobbies, walks in the woods, gardening, and fishing. All her life she had a love for animals and nature, and she had an ability to nursing sick and injured animals back to health. She was employed part time on a farm, where she worked with the dairy herd.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Julia is survived by her husband Charles, three sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers.
