Judith “Judy” A. Scherer (Allison) age 61, of Glenmont, Ohio, passed away Monday December 9, 2024, at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday December 14, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Ward officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Glenmont, Ohio. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County Humane Society.

Judy was born January 31, 1963, in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Gary Allison and Bernice Allison. Judy was a graduate of West Holmes High School class of 1981, where she ran track, played volleyball and was voted personality plus. Judy was an LPN at Sycamore Run for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, the outdoors, hunting, looking for arrowheads, reading and enjoying coffee on her porch. Judy was caring, fun, generous, loving, and a safe place for those she loved. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be forever loved and missed.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carman (Mike) Myers and Kayla (Chuck) Woolsey; grandchildren Nora, Theo, Vivian, Xander, Katie, Landon, and Falyn; sisters Brenda Rady, Cindy Geog, and Deb (Scott) Vance, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Toby.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bobby Allison.
